It is has been a great series so far
Regardless of who wins the NBA Finals this week, it has been one for the ages.
Never have I ever seen one person lift a team and an entire city onto his shoulders like LeBron James has.
I thought it was over when the Cavaliers lost Kyrie Irving to injury for the rest of the series after the second game of the finals.
I already thought it was going to be tough for Cleveland with Kevin Love out of the lineup.
But low and behold, LeBron hoisted the hopes of Cavs fans everywhere onto his shoulders and is turning in one of the greatest performances in NBA Finals history.
I was talking with some basketball fans last week and asked them where he would rank on the list of greatest playoff performers.
They all agreed that he would be no lower than No. 2 behind the great Michael Jordan.
I would also agree with that, but could make a case for LeBron since Jordan had a much better cast of players around him than are on the current Cleveland roster.
So no matter what happens tonight, or even if it does go to a game seven, Cavs fans can be proud of what their team has accomplished this season.
I am hoping for a game seven to propel this series into legendary status.
So go Cleveland.
