AUBURN HILLS — Area wrestlers continued to shine on the second day of the MHSAA Individual State Wrestling Championships at The Palace of Auburn Hills.

While no wrestler will being home a state championship, several still have a chance to place as high as third at the end of the day.

Niles’ Noah Hall and Cassopolis’ Tymari Brown both lost semifinal matches Friday night in divisions 1 and 4 respectively.

Hall dropped a heartbreaking 1-0 decision to Chase Veydt of Jackson Parma-Western, while Brown was defeated by Laingsburg’s Kevin Koenig 8-1.
