NILES - After taking a 6-2 win over Eau Claire Tuesday afternoon, the Brandywine varsity tennis team fell to Edwardsburg Wednesday 7-1 for its first Lakeland Conference game of the season.
The Bobcats' only win came at No. 3 singles where Billy McDonald took a 7-3, 2-6, 7-4 win over Josh Margchke.
Brandywine is now 1-1 and will return to the court today when it hosts Cassopolis. Match times are set to begin at 4 p.m. at Plym Park.
