Brandywine falls to Bridgman

NILES - Brandywine's varsity baseball team traveled to Bridgman Tuesday and fell in two games in its Lakeland Conference opener.
The Bobcats were held scoreless in the first game and dropped a 2-0 decision to the Bees.
Zac Neimtz was the winning pitcher for Bridgman, while Jake Harris suffered the loss.
In the second game, the Bobcats held on to a 3-1 lead in the top of the fifth, but Bridgman scored three runs in the bottom of the inning to post the final score of 4-3.
D.J. Elrod suffered the loss at the mound in game two.
Brandywine is now 3-4 overall, 0-2 in the conference.
