Niles JV tennis team suffers 6-2 loss to Sturgis Tuesday evening

NILES - The Niles JV tennis team hosted Sturgis Tuesday evening and suffered a 6-2 loss in a match that lasted over three hours long.
Despite the loss, head coach Greg Gunder was pleased with the way his Vikings performed.
Picking up wins for Niles was No. 1 singles player Nick Zechlin, who fell in the first set 7-5, but rallied to take a 6-2, 6-2 win in the next two and Josh Pugh took a 6-4, 6-0 win at No. 3 singles.
