NILES - Four Brandywine wrestlers will be competing in the Michigan Youth Wrestling Association (MYWA) state finals this weekend at the Jenison Fieldhouse at Michigan State University.
Warren Watson, Adam Simons, Jeremy Hechtl and Aaron Edquist all advanced when they placed at the regional quarterfinals the weekend of March 17.
Watson (140) and Simons (215) each took first place and Hechtl (215) and Edquist (275) took second.
This past weekend, Watson came home with two first place finishes, one in folkstyle and one in freestyle in Grand Haven.
