NILES - Although Berrien Springs fell to Buena Vista 57-52 in the Class C state final game Saturday, the Shamrocks can say they've had an amazing season.
A team that wasn't even favored to get out of districts made it to the very end and was one of only two teams left standing in Class C.
Berrien Springs ends its season with a 24-4.
Shelby Wood had 21 points for the Shamrocks, Kolby Wood had eight and Jeremy Cummings had seven.
For Buena Vista, Notre Dame recruit Tory Jackson finished with 24 points.
