NILES - Although the Cedar Lane basketball team fell in the championship game of the league finals on Monday, coach Jim Barnhart is still pleased with his team this season.
The team was defeated by Barclay II 70-48 and ends the season with a 4-6 overall record.
AJ Fox led all scorers with 24 points. Darryl Frazier added 10, Josh Breeding had seven, Jason York, Josh Jann and Antoine Gray all had two and Maggie Wilson had one.
Fox and Frazier were both given All-Tournament honors for their performances.
Barnhart stated that the team will be back next season and they hope to add a few more games to the schedule.
