Charles Michael “Chuck” Lindley, 62, of Cassopolis, died Tuesday, July 16, 2024.
His life began June 9, 1962, in Tucson, Arizona, fourth of five children born to Charles and Gladys Lindley. He married Tamara Lee Pattee September 18, 1999, in Cassopolis, Michigan.
Chuck cherished his family and enjoyed people. He had a distinct voice, and you would always know when he was around. He loved golfing, throwing horseshoes, having get-togethers with his family, playing cards, and watching basketball. He grew up attending The Lord’s House Church in Cassopolis. Chuck started and grew C.L. Painting. He was passionate and proud of his business and the community that he loved.
Chuck will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by his beloved wife of twenty-five years, Tammie Lindley of Cassopolis; daughter, Brooke (Amy Nelson) Lindley of Kalamazoo; son, Charles Michael “CJ” Lindley Jr. of Cassopolis; stepsons, Eric (Nichole) Keck of Cassopolis, Tadd (Katie) Caudill of Marcellus; three granddaughters, Emma, Ella, Bryanna; sisters, Debra (Keith) Barnum of Cassopolis, Lawara “Jean” (Tom) Casey of Dowagiac; brother, John Lindley of Cassopolis; half-brother, Ted Lindley of Elkhart, Indiana; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; stepson, Trent Caudill; brother, Jeff Lindley; and nephew, JP Gartland III.
Family and friends will gather Saturday, July 20, 2024, from 12 noon until time of service at 2 p.m., in Wagner Family Funerals Connelly Chapel, 202 North Broadway Street, Cassopolis.
