3 arrested in Cass County for concealing stolen property

NEWBURG TOWNSHIP — Three people were arrested Tuesday after stolen items were found in a Newburg Township home, according to the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team.
Detectives conducted a search warrant on an address in the 61000 block of Bair Lake St., Newberg Township, Cass County, Michigan for suspicion of concealing stolen property.
Detectives detained three individuals at the residence. Upon searching the residence, detectives located and recovered multiple stolen items. A 31 year-old male was arrested on a parole detainer. Detectives are requesting charges to the Cass County Prosecutors Office for possession of stolen property on the male and a 37-year-old-female.
The suspect’s names are being withheld pending arraignment on the charges. Assisting Agency’s include the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, Dowagiac Police Department, and Cass County K-9 Neera. The investigation is still on going at this time.
