Cassopolis — Defending Southwest 10 Conference golf champion Cassopolis is closing in on another title.

The Rangers won the latest league jamboree on its home court at Diamond Lake as they shot a 167.

Centreville was second with a 182, White Pigeon third with a 188, Comstock fourth with 189 and Marcellus fifth with a 190.

Cassopolis’ William Westrate earned medalist honors as he shot a round of 40.

The Rangers also got a 41 from Turner Westrate, a 42 from Dickson Samadder, a 44 from Kenny May and a 46 from Trystan Grant.

Leighton Osborn and Abram Coffey both shot 45 to lead the Wildcats.
