Buchanan at Dowagiac
The Chieftains outshot the Bucks by a 3-to-one count, but could only dent the back of the net once.
“We played our best game of the year today,” said Dowagiac Coach Joey Pasternak. “Effort was there and focus on moving the ball as a team from front to back. Defense stepped up big all game we just couldn’t finish in the net we hit post a few times and their goalie had a very good game. We controlled possession and didn’t really force the ball into pressure we are continuing to grow and mature as a team just need to clean up some of the little things and finish our opportunities.”
The Bucks remain in first place with a 3-0-1 mark. Dowagiac is third at 1-2-1.
Edwardsburg at Niles
Shelby Laubach and Vivian Tomas both scored two goals for the Eddies in their victory.
