HARTFORD — Visiting Cassopolis had three players in double figures as it defeated Hartford 42-25 in Southwest 10 Conference basketball Thursday night.
The Rangers (4-2, 4-1 Southwest 10) outscored the Huskies 16-4 in the opening quarter. Cassopolis led 24-11 at halftime.
Hartford (2-5, 2-3 Southwest 10) scored seven points in each of the final three quarters and could not make up any ground on the Rangers.
Ryley Bowsher led Cassopolis with a game-high 11 points, while Mackenzie Boyer and Atyanna Alford added 10 points each.
Abby Valdes and Ava Bachman both scored six points to lead the Huskies.
The Rangers head to Lawrence for another Southwest 10 Conference contest on Tuesday.
