OAKLAND — Visiting Lake Michigan College could not maintain its halftime lead as Oakland Community College rallied for a 75-70 Michigan Community College Athletic Association non-division women’s basketball game Saturday.

The Red Hawks (2-10) led 36-31 at halftime and 56-54 after three quarters before being outscored 21-13 in the final 10 minutes of the contest.

Arial Ford led Lake Michigan with a game-high 27 points and 14 rebounds, while Eleah Hedstrom added 20 points. Madison Flowers finished with 13 points, six rebounds and eight assists.

The Red Hawks return to action Saturday when they open up MCCAA Western Conference play against at Kalamazoo Valley Community College.
