BUCHANAN — Senior Nico Finn, who helped lead the Buchanan football team to the Division 6 District championship game this past season, has been named First-Team All-State by the Michigan High School Football Coaches Association.

Finn is the lone player in the Leader Publications coverage area to earn all-state from the MHSFCA.

Finn led the Bucks in both rushing and receiving during the 2023 regular season.

He ran for 597 yards on 122 carries with five touchdowns, while he aloes caught 32 passes for 502 yards and six touchdowns. Finn did not have a fumble this season.

He also led Buchanan with 80 tackles, a sack a forced fumbled and an interception.
