James J. Granning, 78, of South 15th Street, Niles, died at 7:10 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 17, at Riveridge Manor, Niles, following an extended illness.
The family gathered privately, with the Rev. Dr. Ronald H. Wakeman of First Presbyterian Church officiating. There was no visitation.
Burial was at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens, in Niles.
Memorial contributions, in his memory, may be made to Hospice At Home.
Arrangements were by Halbritter Funeral Home, Niles.
