NILES - The Niles Vikings football team has once again received recognition for its hard work in the classroom.
The Vikings were Academic All State Honorable Mention on the Michigan High School Football Coaches Assosiaction (MHSFCA) list, which was announced recently.
This is the sixth straight year that the football team has been named to the list, either by first team or honorable mention.
Head football coach Dave Janicki said that none of this could have been possible without the help of so many individuals.
Janicki also said that this means the football program has young men who are good role models and work hard in the classroom,
Earlier this month, senior Rick Storm was also honored on the MHSFCA Academic All State honorable mention list for his hard work in the classroom.
