NILES - Brandywine's varsity wrestling team had a lot to smile about Saturday afternoon as the team hosted the Brandywine Bobcat Duals and posted a perfect 5-0 record.
Dowagiac finished just behind Brandywine with a 4-1 record, while Mendon was third going 3-2.
Climax-Scotts went 2-3 on the day, Eau Claire finished 1-5 and Lawton went 0-5.
Individual wrestlers to post 5-0 records for Brandywine were Pat VanLaere (119), Justin Price (152), Joel Perry (160), Kyle Jones (171) and Adam Simons (189).
Dowagiac's Drew Staley was the lone wrestler to post a 5-0 record for the Chieftains.
The Bobcats defeated Lawton, 60-24; Dowagiac 51-21; Eau Claire 64-15; Mendon 51-24; and Climax-Scotts 59-21.
On Wednesday, Brandywine will host Edwardsburg for a Lakeland Conference match set to begin at 6 p.m.
