Niles Schools to approve bond resolution language

NILES - At this coming Monday evening's Niles Community Schools Board of Education meeting, the board will approve the official bond resolution which includes the language which will be featured on the ballot for the Feb. 28, 2006 school bond election.
The school board is asking voters in the district to approve a bond proposal for $105.2 mils for 30 years for the construction of a new high school and additions and remodeling of the remaining buildings within the district.
The board will also approve the administration's request to seek bids to replace three of the districts 84-passenger school buses.
The board will also be approving the bid from Allied Roofing Company in Grand Rapids, for the replacement of roofs at Northside Child Development Center and Ring Lardner Middle School.
