Peter V. Morrow, 75, of Niles, passed away suddenly on Friday, Feb. 21, 2020, in Spectrum Health Lakeland Hospital in Niles.

Pete was born on Oct. 29, 1944, in Cheboygan, Michigan, to the late Roy and Minnie (Van Kampen) Morrow.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Mary Pedersen, and brother, Ray Morrow.

On Oct. 3, 1969, in Niles, he married Penny Balogh who survives.

Pete is survived by his wife, Penny; and children, Gary (Kecia) Morrow, of Birmingham, Alabama, Donald (Barbara) Pagano, of New Orleans, Louisiana, Kellie (Steven) McLean, of St. Joseph, Michigan; grandchildren, Emilie (Rusty) Cowley, Ryan Morrow, Ian Morrow, Samantha McLean, Zac McLean, Stephanie (Scott) Michaels; great-grandchildren, Chloe and Austin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Pete retired as a supervisor from Allied Signal/Bosch in 2003. He was a member of the Elks in Niles. Pete loved his grandchildren and attending their sporting events. Pete was also an excellent musician, he loved playing guitar. He was also a wonderful singer. Pete would entertain his grandchildren with magic tricks and he was an amazing artist.

In keeping with Pete’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
