NILES CHARTER TOWNSHIP — Signal Travel and Tours hosted its grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony last Thursday to celebrate its new offices at 2540 S. 11th St. in Niles Charter Township.

The event was co-hosted by the Greater Niles Chamber of Commerce and was in conjunction with its monthly Business After Hours event, which is a casual networking mixer.

It was also in conjunction with Signal Travel and Tours’ 50th anniversary Tuesday, Oct. 1.

The business helps people in the Michiana area create travel plans.

Signal Travel and Tour’s president, Michele Boyd, stated that this move is an excellent opportunity for the business to be more accessible to both Michigan and Indiana clientele.

The business’s old space at 219 E. Main St. is the new home of SLR Pilates, a downtown business owned by Stephanie Reno.
