Gloria A. Moore, 90, of Dowagiac, passed away on Friday, July 12, 2019, at Forest Glen Assisted Living.
A celebration of life memorial service will take place at 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 18, 2019, at Silver Creek United Methodist Church, 31994 Middle Crossing Road, Dowagiac, with Pastor Sara Carlson officiating.
A private burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Silver Creek United Methodist Church or Meals on Wheels of Cass Co. COA, 227 S. Front St., Dowagiac.

Gloria was born on Dec. 2, 1928, in Palos Park, Illinois, to Henry and Anna (Bruzek) Hyink.
She graduated from Cassopolis High School in 1946.
On Dec. 4, 1948, Gloria married the love of her life, Clinton Moore. They were happily married for nearly 38 years before his passing in 1986. She began to work at A & P Grocery Store, then after a few years, relocated to The Milk Depot where she was happily employed for about six years. Wanting a change, Gloria began her career as a bank teller at Fifth Third Bank where she worked for 23 years until her retirement.
Gloria was a proud member of Silver Creek United Methodist Church. She was the treasurer of not only the church but also the woman’s group, which she was very active in. Gloria enjoyed reading, collecting spoons and teddy bears and watching the food network. Most of all, Gloria loved her family.
Gloria is survived by her daughters, Colleen (Donald) Roach, of Dowagiac, Rose (Donald) Basinger, of Chesterfield, Virginia, Susan (Craig) Churchill, of Dowagiac, Crystal (David) Sprague, of Dowagiac, and Cynthia (Andy) Custard, of Constantine; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Anna; husband, Clinton; daughter, Pamela; three brothers; and one sister.
