NILES — Iron Shoe Distillery’s parking lot was filled with people instead of vehicles from 4 p.m. to midnight Saturday.

The distillery was the host of One Good Deed Michiana’s charity event. The nonprofit hosted silent auctions, beer selections and a cover charge to raise money for the Niles Parks Board.

The board has not yet decided where funds will go, but the fundraiser comes ahead of a city master plan review.
