Brandywine trio honorable mention all-state in tennis

NILES — A trio of Brandywine tennis players were named Division 4 Honorable Mention All-State by the Michigan High School Tennis Coaches Association.
Megan Schmidt, who played No. 1 singles for the Bobcats, as well as the No. 1 doubles team of Maigon Conrad and Ava Moody, were honored by the MHSTCA.
Schmidt was 20-1 this season. She was a BCS Athletic Conference and Division 4 Regional champion.
Conrad and Moody finished the season 23-1. They were also conference and regional champions.
Moody, a senior, is the first Brandywine player to receive the honor two consecutive years.
