NEWBERG TOWNSHIP — A man was injured in a roll-over accident in Newberg Township Monday, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Department.

Sheriff Richard Behnke reported that deputies were called to M-40 and M-60 in Newberg Township for a personal injury accident. Initial investigation shows that a tractor trailer driven by James Bradtke, 35, overturned on M-40, dumping trash onto the roadway.

Bradtke was transported by Newberg and Life Care Ambulance to Bronson Hospital for his injuries.

The crash remains under investigation at this time. Deputies reported that a seatbelt was used and that alcohol does not appear to have been a factor.

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on the scene by Newberg Ambulance, Life Care Ambulance and Michigan Department of Transportation.
