NILES — The 2019 Niles Summer Concert Series is looking for sponsors as it prepares to begin its series on Thursday June 6 and continuing every Thursday through August at Riverfront Park. 

Concert sponsorships are welcome in any amount, said concert organizers. Sponsors can be businesses, civic organizations, and private individuals and families.

Names of those who sponsor will be included in all concert promotions, like newspaper articles, radio interviews and Facebook promotions. Many of the performers will likely publicize the sponsors on their Facebook page, said organizers.

Sponsoring businesses are able to set up a table or booth at a concert to promote their organizations. Giveaways are allowed, but sales are not.

Last year, local businesses offered specials to increase their foot traffic on Thursday evenings. Organizers said they would be willing to help promote such offers.

Any donation made up until Aug. 31 will be matched up to $2,750 by the Leighton-Oare Foundation of South Bend.

Those interested in sponsorships can make checks out to the Michigan Community Gateway Foundation in Buchanan — with “Niles Summer Concert Series” on the memo line — and can be mailed to the foundation.
