Kevin (Torque) William Whitney left this earth to ride the wind on Monday, the 20th of May at 57 years of age.

He had fought the good fight against end stage liver disease, but his time just ran out.

Kevin (Torque) William Whitney

Kevin was born at Pawating Hospital in Niles, and lived there nearly his entire life. He was a kind and loving man who worked hard, played hard, and loved with his whole heart. One of the things he loved the most was riding his Harley, and proudly served as President of his own Cass County Charter of the Avengers MC. He was a fiercely loyal man, and loved by many. His family and friends, meant everything to him. He was generous to a fault, never wanting to let a friend down, giving whatever he could to anyone in need.

Kevin was preceded in death by his parents Clarence Mac Whitney and Jayne L. Whitney, and a brother Jimmy. He leaves behind his loving, devoted fiancé Judy Vallieres, who was the love of his life, his brother Greg Whitney, his sons Joe and John Hogue, as well as his beloved grandchildren Ethan, Grace, Phelix, Lily and Marley, as well as cousins, nephews, nieces and so many friends who were more like family.

Kevin would like to be remembered for the way he lived his life on his own terms, but most importantly and above all else, that he was a good man.

Services will be held in the near future at Hoven Funeral Home in Buchanan.
