CASSOPOLIS —  Cass County Administrator Jeff Carmen recently announced the appointment of Kerry Collins as deputy county administrator.  Collins became a county employee in 1987 and has served as the county information technology director since 1993.

“Kerry is an incredible talent and Cass County is fortunate to have him as part of our team,” Carmen said. “For 26 years, he has been responsible for understanding and leading the implementation of a wide variety of technology driven improvements. Every process we use to serve county residents has been shepherded by him. He has written the history. Even more significant is that everyone in county government trusts him and knows he is a person of the highest integrity.”

Collins will also continue to serve as director of information technology. His appointment as deputy county administrator is effective immediately.

“I look forward to the challenge and continuing to work closely with an outstanding county team,” Collins said.
