BARODA TOWNSHIP — A 45-year-old man died in a farm incident Thursday morning, according to the Baroda-Lake Township Police Department.

Police responded to 11573 Cleveland Ave. in Baroda Township for a call of a person down in a barn.

Patrick Freehling, 45, was pronounced dead at the scene. Freehling was found by a farm working in the barn where he had been working earlier that morning. Police said his death appeared to be a “tragic farm incident.” No signs of foul play were detected. An autopsy will be conducted at a later time.
