NILES — Vince Ambrosetti a singer, songwriter and a mission presenter will return to St. Mary’s Church this week and next for the Future Full of Hope Parish Mission.

There will be a Family Concert with Vince at 7 p.m. Sunday, March 3 and the Future Full of Hope Parish Mission will take place at 7 p.m. March 4 to March 6, at the church, 203 S. Lincoln Ave. in Niles. Vince will also be at all masses from Saturday, March 2 to Sunday, March 3. Masses take place at 4:30 p.m. Saturdays and 8:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., in Spanish, Sundays.

Ambrosetti is described by fans as an artist with a passionate love for God, people and music. The church invites anyone from the community to visit St. Mary’s to see him present.

Ambrosetti is the founder and frequent presenter of Faith on Fire Missions.

“Music is a powerful communicator, expressing that which words often cannot speak,” Ambrosetti said. “Through music, word, ritual and story, we rediscover that the values of the world around us ought not be our ‘reality.’ Rather, our reality is our faith in the risen Christ, pervasive to the whole of our lives. This rich tradition combined with the Word of God through the Sacramental journey is the schematic by which we are called to live.”   

In its 39th year of writing, recording, performing, and presenting missions, Faith on Fire Missions seeks to stay true to the founding charism: “To enliven and inspire people of faith and, through music, touch the hearts of those who cannot be reached by words alone.”
