CASSOPOLIS — Dr. Neil See, a longtime primary care physician, is retiring after 43 years of serving patients of Cass and southeast Berrien Counties.
See, originally from Grinnell, Iowa, received his Doctorate of Family Medicine from The University of Iowa Medical College in 1972. Following his residency, See was recruited to begin his career with Cass Medical Clinic in 1975, now known as Cassopolis Family Clinic Network. While the name and ownership of the organization has changed, Dr. See’s commitment to his patients and to the community has remained the same.
“I’ve practiced family medicine in Cassopolis and Niles for 43 years, and have taken care of multiple generations of some families,” See said.
While See loved caring for patients of all ages, working with geriatric patients has always had a special place in his heart. Along with caring for his patients at the Health Center, See has also cared for more than 200 patients of three local nursing homes per month.
“I look forward to retirement and the ability to spend more time with my family, traveling, and a few rounds of golf,” See said. “I will however miss my patients, the individuals I have cared for the four decades I have been at the Health Center.”
See would like to thank his wife Shirley and family, CFCNa Board of Directors, administration, staff and patients for their continuous support throughout his career.
