Brandywine 3-1 at Bridgman Mini

BRIDGMAN — The Brandywine volleyball team went 3-1 at the Bridgman Mini on Monday.

Buchanan was swept by host Edwardsburg in a non-conference match 3-0.

The Bobcats defeated Michigan Lutheran, 25-13 and 25-2, defeated Bridgman 25-16 and 25-23, defeated Paw Paw 25-14 and 25-10 before losing to Kalamazoo Christian 25-22, 22-25 and 15-7.

Bethany Duval finished with 27 kills, four blocks, 16 digs and six aces, while Kylie Myers finished with 25 kills and 11 blocks.

Nicole Sachman had 21 kills, two blocks, 27 digs and six aces.

Audrey Longley finished with 90 assists, eight kills and 21 digs.

Megan Schmidt led Brandywine with 56 digs.

The Bobcats are now 25-2 on the year.

Buchanan volleyball

The Eddies swept the Bucks 25-10, 25-10 and 25-13 to improved to 17-3 on the season.

Ali McClaran had five kills and two digs, while Alea Fisher finished with nine digs and an ace.

Skye Leach led the Eddies with 10 kills, eight digs and four aces, while Anna Hull had nine kills and three blocks.

Claire Alby had 33 assists, six digs, two kills and six aces.
