NILES — The Four Flags Area Apple Festival board is seeking more contestants for the Lip Sync contest.

The Lip Sync contest is an Apple Festival tradition, where people take to the stage to perform a lip sync of their favorite songs. The contest will take place at 1 p.m. Sept. 30. Cash prizes are awarded to winners.

Those interested must register online take part in a Lip Sync Review at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 23, at the Apple Festival building, located at the corner of 17th and Lake streets.

There are three age groups ranging from 7 to 12; 13 to 17, and 18 and over. Prizes for each age group are $300 for first, $200 for second and $100 for third. Those looking to compete should have a song, outfit and any props finalized by the review.
