St. John’s United Church of Christ to host fish fry Sept. 21

NILES — The St. John’s United Church of Christ, 217 N. Fourth St., will host a fish fry dinner from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21, inside the church’s Fellowship Hall.

The dinner will include fish, French fries, homemade coleslaw, rolls and desserts. Beverages served will be coffee, milk and punch. Cost: $9 for adults, $4 for children 5 to 12 and children under 5 are free. Carry out is available. For more information, call the church at (269) 683-4420.

Papasan-Mamasan Korea Veterans Association

NEW TROY — The Papasan-Mamasan Korea Veterans Association meeting will take place at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, at the New Troy American Legion Post #518, at 4789 Weechik Road in New Troy.

All Korea War veterans who were in the service between June 25, 1950 and June 30, 1955 are eligible to attend. Korea veterans who served during that period but did not go to Korea are also eligible to join this organization.
