NILES — The Niles Elks hosted a Sundapalooza on Aug. 26 to provide a free carnival to the special needs community.
The free event took place at the Niles Elks Lodge, 1322 Canal St., and drew more than 50 special needs residents and about 100 people overall.
Those who attended the carnival had the chance to participate in carnival-style games, food, bingo and an open mic, face painting and more. Live music was performed by the Deep Fried Pickle Project.
