Lake Michigan College to host open house for Todd Center

BENTON HARBOR — Lake Michigan College will host a celebration to dedicate the Todd Center, 2755 E. Napier Ave. in Benton Harbor.
The event will take place at 1:30 p.m. and will begin with music and refreshments. At 2 p.m., there will be a dedication ceremony. From 2:30 to 5 p.m. there will be a public open house and people will be able to tour the new center, learn about the programs and meet the professors who’ll be teaching there this fall.
The Todd Center is intended to be a hub of learning and innovation for business, education and information technology. The building is formerly known as Western Michigan University-Southwest and is named in honor of Mr. Edward J. Todd, a longtime champion for education, community and quality of life.
Todd Center Academic Programs will include:
• Business
• Criminal Justice
• Culinary and Hospitality Management
• Education
• Information Technology
