DOWAGIAC — In celebration of Dowagiac’s 28th annual Rod & Roll Classic Auto Show, The Baker’s Rhapsody is serving up breakfast for the public.
The auto show will take place from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Front Street in downtown Dowagiac. It is sponsored by the Greater Dowagiac Chamber of Commerce and is free and open to the public. The classic auto show will feature dash plaques, signature show t-shirts, live music and door prizes, to name a few.
The breakfast is a new aspect to the event and will feature baked French toast or spinach artichoke and mushroom quiche, with sausage on the side. Event co-chairperson Kris Soenen, owner of Who Knew? Consignment, said the public can enjoy the $6 breakfast beneath the festival tent on Front Street, located in front of Baker’s Rhapsody.
Auto owners can still register their vehicles for the show at the Greater Dowagiac Chamber of Commerce through Thursday. Pre-registration is $15 with on-site registration being $20. Voting by show participants begins at 8 a.m. Saturday.
