Psi Iota Xi attends convention, celebrates accomplishments

Members of the Psi Iota Xi, Heather Mitchell, Lesley Bookout, Annette Beck and Heather Bosch, attended the Psi Iota Xi National Convention in Carmel, Indiana, June 22 to June 24.
Psi Iota Xi meets annually to vote on charitable contributions to be distributed nationally.
The theme for convention was: “Sisters are Treasured Gems” and the organization celebrated the accomplishments of this charitable organization led by Beth Keeney, national president.
This year Psi Iota Xi completed their most recent long-term project that resulted in donations of more than $100,000 to Multifaceted Stuttering Services at the University of Toledo.
The last two long-term projects include an endowed professorship for cochlear implants at Indiana University School of Medicine/Riley Hospital and Cleft Palate Research at the University of Illinois.
Annually Psi Iota Xi donates nearly one million dollars to art, music, literature and speech and hearing projects. Psi Iota Xi -Zeta Theta, Niles, raised funds through sweet and spicy pickle sales and the Niles Four Flags Apple Festival arts and crafts to contribute to the community through donating to the following (and more):
