DOWAGIAC — Last week, young children ooed and ahhed as a man dressed as a safari ranger pulled a series of exotic animals out of boxes.
The Dowagiac District Library hosted Nelson’s Wildlife Safari Wednesday, a company that raises exotic animals and presents them to children for educational purposes. During the presentation, Dowagiac children saw a number of animals including a groundhog, sugar gliders, a fox and an armadillo.
