Edwardsburg dominates All-Wolverine baseball

EDWARDSBURG — Wolverine Conference champion Edwardsburg dominated the all-league squad, which was released Monday.
The Eddies landed five players on the first team, as well as a pair of the second team.
Dowagiac had two second-team selections.
First-team picks for Edwardsburg were Landen Cebra, Caden Goggins, Chris Griffen, Austin Hurt and Jonah Sibley.
The Eddies’ A.J. Gaideski shared coach of the year honors with Drew Rutenbar of Sturgis.
Second-team selections were Matt Heple and Devin Pulling.
The Chieftains’ Brendan Dudley and Kade Schreiber were named to the second team.
Edwardsburg finished with a 16-2 record to win its fourth consecutive conference championship. Sturgis was runner-up with a 15-3 record, while Otsego and Vicksburg tied for third with 13-4 marks.
Dowagiac finished sixth with an 8-10 conference record.
