Cassopolis Schools to sponsor summer food service program

CASSOPOLIS — Cassopolis Public Schools recently announced the sponsorship of the Summer Food Service Program for children. Free meals will be made available to children 18 years of age and under or people up to age 26 who are enrolled in an educational program for the mentally or physically disabled that is recognized by a state or local public educational agency.

The meals will be provided without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.

Meals will be provided at the sites listed below:

• Brookside Learning Center — Located at 61662 Dailey Road. Meals will be served at this location from June 18 through Aug. 7 on Mondays and Tuesdays. Breakfast: 9 to 9:30 a.m. Lunch: noon to 12:30 p.m.

• Sam Adams Elementary School — Located at 114 S. Depot Street. Meals will be served at this location from July 9 through Aug. 23 Monday through Thursday. Breakfast: 9 to 9:30 a.m. Lunch: 1 to 1:30 p.m.

• Cass District Library — Located at 319 M-62. Meals will be served at this location from July 9 through Aug. 23 Monday through Thursday. Lunch: noon to 12:30 p.m.

• Cass County Fairgrounds — Located at 590 N. O’Keefe Street. Meals will be served at this location from July 30 through Aug. 4 Monday through Saturday. Breakfast: 7 to 9 a.m. Lunch: 11 a.m. to 1: 30 p.m.
