CASSOPOLIS — The Cassopolis Chapter of the National Honor Society inducted 16 new members into the organization last month. These students were elected to membership because of their superiority in four areas of consideration:  scholarship, leadership, service and character. 

The ceremony was well-attended by family and community members. For its major service activities this school year, the Cassopolis NHS hosted three blood drives through the Michigan Blood Organization, as well as a school-wide Walk-a-thon that raised more than $2,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
