BENTON TOWNSHIP — Police were called to investigate a body that washed up near the shoreline at Rocky Gap Park at 9:20 a.m. Friday, according to Benton Township authorities.

The deceased was identified as Ralph Ford, of White Pigeon. Ford was originally reported missing on April 10, from Brian’s Marina, where he was seen on his dock.  The body was transported to Lakeland Medical Center in St. Joseph by Medic 1.  At this time, there is no evidence of foul play, police said.
