DOWAGIAC — The Dowagiac Optimist Club hosted its 35th annual pancake breakfast Saturday morning at Dowagiac Union High School, with a good turnout despite poor weather. Money raised from the event will go toward a number of Optimist Club projects, including scholarships for Dowagiac Union High School seniors.
The Dowagiac Armory donated use of its kitchen for the event.
