EDWARDSBURG — On Wednesday, a 48-year-old female was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine.

Cass County Drug Enforcement Team detectives executed a search warrant in the 70000 block of Sterling Drive in Mason Township. Upon searching the residence, detectives located a marijuana grow operation that was in compliance with Michigan’s Medical Marijuana Act. However, methamphetamine and methamphetamine paraphernalia were located in a bedroom that belonged to another individual residing in the home.  

Her name is being held, pending arraignment in the District Court of Cass County. The investigation is still ongoing at this time.
