JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP — An Edwardsburg woman was injured in a roll-over crash Wednesday morning, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded to the single-vehicle rollover crash around 7:28 a.m. Wednesday in the 66000 block of M-62 in Jefferson Township.

Initial investigation shows that 19-year-old Courtney Houser of Edwardsburg was driving northbound on M-62 when she lost control of her vehicle on the icy road. 

She then exited the roadway and rolled four or five times, according to a witness.

Pride Care Ambulance transported Houser to Saint Joseph Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.

Deputies have determined that Houser was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash and alcohol was not a factor in the accident, which remains under investigation.
