CASSOPOLIS — After stumbling a bit, the Cassopolis volleyball team appears to be on a roll.

The Rangers were second at the Decatur Invitational last Saturday and defeated visiting Eau Claire 3-0 in a Southwest 10 Conference match Tuesday night.

“My girls came out strong tonight,” Cassopolis coach Demi Schrader said. “We were attacking the ball and setting the pace of the game. We communicated well and did a good job moving our feet.”

Unlike some previous matches, at Decatur on Saturday, the Rangers overcame their mistakes and played well throughout the tournament.

“I am very proud of my girls and the fight they gave all day,” Schrader said. “We had some high points and low points throughout the day, but we were able to push through those and make our way to the championship match.”
