PARCHMENT — Due to a scheduling conflict, the Parchment Invitational turned into a single match between Dowagiac and Lake Michigan Catholic.

The Chieftains defeated the Lakers 4-1 as Alec Saylor scored a pair of goals.

Johnny Ruiz and Nate Judd scored the other two goals as Dowagiac improved to 8-1 on the season.

Matt Mosier had an assist on Saylor’s first goal.

The Chieftains outshot the Lakers 22-4.
