The Dowagiac Conservation Club will offer free hunter safety classes later this month on its grounds, 54551 M-51 N., 2 miles north of city limits.

Registration for the three-day course will take place from 6 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 16 inside the club. A birth certificate is required for all registrants.

The three courses take place on from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 24 and Friday, Aug. 25, and from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 26. Attendance at all three classes is required in order to receive a hunter safety card.
