Dowagiac and Buchanan continued to tune up for next week’s golf regional as they squared off in a non-conference match at Hampshire Country Club Tuesday.

The Chieftains defeated the Bucks 182-196.

Dowagiac’s Drew Phillips earned medalist honors after shooting 40.

Tristen McCarty and Austin Lloyd tied for the top spot for Buchanan as they shot 47.

The Bucks did win the JV match 234-245.

Jake Aalfs was medalist for Buchanan with a 49.

Dowagiac was led by Jared Stillwell’s 50.
